Letters include the following: a letter (possibly from Muftakhar al-Dawlah) to a friend, likely Rukhsarah Khanum or Jahan Ara (Hajiyah Khanum) Pizishkiyan; another letter in which the sender thanks the recipient for a face veil and offers condolences over the death of family members; Muftakhar al-Dawlah writing to Rukhsarah Khanum, daughter of Jahan Ara (Hajiyah Khanum) Pizishkiyan and Mirza Buzurg Shaykh al-Islam, about the death of her brother's wife (the daughter of Muʻavin al-Mulk) during childbirth.
